The Maastricht Symposium is an event that offers students, companies and speakers a unique platform to become acquainted, debate, learn and benefit from each other. The event is organized by students of the Committee Koning Willem I in collaboration with Maastricht University and the four student associations. The theme that Committee Koning Willem I has chosen for Maastricht Symposium 2016 is: Digitalization: Wisdom of the Crowd

What to expect?
The Maastricht Symposium starts off in the beautiful venue of Maastricht University: the Aula of the Minderbroedersberg. Here we shall listen to three speakers that give their opinion on this year’s theme: Digitalization: wisdom of the crowd. This part of the day shall be hosted by the moderator mr. Jo Ritzen. Ritzen has been Maastricht University’s rector magnicficus and he has been minister of Education in the Netherlands. This part of the day shall be ended with an interactive debate. The afternoon is hitting off with a delicious lunch, for which some students are selected to participate in the recruitment lunch. Afterwards the students will participate in two workshops. Here they have the opportunity to meet both commercial and a non-commercial organizations in an interactive and intimate setting. Of course we will end the day with some drinks to discuss this inspiring day!
