The Maastricht Symposium serves as a platform for top companies to present themselves to a selection of highly talented students. The major goal of the Maastricht Symposium is to create an inspiring environment in which innovative and interesting companies get to meet the most talented students from all big universities in the Netherlands. In the light of our central theme; The student; ‘A product of society or a human being in development’, a variety of keynote speakers and a discussion panel will create an interesting discussion among students, recruiters and our special guests.

The Maastricht Symposium provides access for approximately 150 top students, who will be selected based on their CV and a column about the central theme. Half of these students come from several big universities in the Netherlands and belong to the top 10% students of their study and the other half of the participants study at the Maastricht University. For both groups, the Maastricht Symposium provides a unique opportunity to orientate themselves on the labor market. All of the students present at the Maastricht Symposium are in the latest phase of their study programme and most of them have already been active in a variety of extracurricular activities. Together, these students form a select as well as a diverse group and offer you the opportunity to meet only those students who are really interesting and of added-value for you as a company.

Besides creating an inspiring environment and raise an interesting discussion, students have the possibility to get in touch with four companies from four different sectors during a company workshop. We are searching for top companies that are interested in an original and effective way of recruiting. You will get the opportunity to present your company during one of these four business workshops and will also have full exclusivity within your sector.
